Chesha P Chellappan is a legal professional with a robust educational and experiential background. She earned her B.A LL. B from His Highness the Maharaja’s Govt. Law College, Ernakulam affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and later pursued LL. M in Public Law & IPR from the Department of Law, Kerala University. She has cleared the UGC – NET Examination. Before delving into LL.M she gained practical experience as an Advocate.

Chesha’s journey in academia led her to become an Assistant Professor at Mount Zion Law College, affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. Her commitment to legal education shines through her engagement in various national and international seminars, workshops, round table conferences, and Faculty Development Programme.
Her intellectual curiosity and interdisciplinary approach are evident from her participation as a valuator for the Young Innovators Programme, a unique initiative by the Kerala Development & Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC). This role demonstrates her passion for fostering innovation within legal and educational spheres.
She received an A+ grade in the Promotion of Excellence Among Gifted Students Programme from the General Education Department, Kerala, underscoring her outstanding academic achievements.

Sphurthi Krishna holds a BA LL.B degree from JSS Law College, Mysore, affiliated with Karnataka State Law University. She further pursued her LL.M from Amity University, Kolkata, specializing in Business Law, where she was awarded a silver medal for her exceptional academic performance. Her unwavering commitment to values earned her the prestigious Shri Baljit Shastri Award for ‘Best in Human and Traditional Values’. Additionally, Sphurthi successfully cleared the APSET examination, highlighting her dedication to academic pursuits. She is also a qualified UGC-NET holder, which significantly adds to her academic accomplishments.

Before transitioning into academia, Sphurthi gained practical experience by practicing before the High Court of Hyderabad. Her professional journey extends to the legal and edutech sectors, where she focused on career counseling and mentorship. Actively engaging in both national and international moot court competitions, Sphurthi’s participation enriched her with a diverse legal exposure. She has also authored articles for esteemed national and international Journals, showcasing her commitment to knowledge dissemination. Her dedication to continuous growth is evident through her active participation in national seminars and conferences.

Sphurthi’s research interests revolve around significant areas including Intellectual Property Rights, Women’s Jurisprudence, and Environmental Law In her journey of evolution, Sphurthi’s area of interest has expanded to encompass critical themes such as Gender Justice, Women and Law, and Socio-legal issues.
