Dr. A.Vincent Arputhom is a Ph.D. Scholar with Masters in Law. He has earned 35 years of experience in Legal Education & College Administration. He stepped into legal education as his career in the year 1984, starting as a Senior Research fellow at Kochin University, Kerala, and thereafter worked as Lecturer in Law at Andhra Christian Law College, Guntur up to 1990. Later, he joined Dr. Ambedkar Govt. Law College, Pondicherry through UPSC selection and worked as Associate Professor until 2015. In 2015, he was promoted to the post of Principal at the same institute and retired from service in the year 2019. As a Faculty member, he was closely associated with organizing more than 25 All-India Moot Court competitions, Seminars, Workshops, and Colloquiums. As Principal, he took a personal interest in organizing 3 exclusive Tamil Moot Court competitions for the benefit of Tamil speaking students in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry & Karnataka to motivate and help them develop arguing skills in Tamil. He has organized 8 English National Moot Court Competitions. He has also organized One National Moot Court competition exclusively for Women students – The First of its kind in India.
